(6/9/04) Four years ago I wrote that I would use this site to give more frequent updates about the "goings on" of my life. I didn't, what can I say? Things are going along quite well but again - what a ride! I recently finished a three-year active duty stint in the Washington, DC area with the Navy Reserves. That tour included a tour at the Pentagon that crossed 9.11.01. I ask that you pray often for those who lost loved ones there, including not less than one alum, Dave Williams (C/O 1991' I believe.) I knew a lot of good folks from my office that did not make it, I happened to be elsewhere in the building when it happened.
Anyway, I still live in DC and am working on an investment property I purchased near the capitol. I also work on my parents real estate in Richmond, Va. when I make time. Soon enough I will sell this property and take off for Staunton, Virginia. I am recently engaged, and plan to be wed in October of this year and hope to enjoy nuptials with the new wife back at home, in “the Valley.“
I hope to work there till I am old, old, old. I am still a drilling reservist, so your Navy guys that had hoped I was gone for good are plain outta' luck.
I hope that you all are living life more courageously, especially when it comes to faith in God.
